Biography

Chee-Ping Ho holds the Masters of Science in Music Technology from the Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis, Graduate Certificate in Compositional Approaches to Film Scoring from Berklee College of Music and Bachelor of Music (Dual Major) Contemporary Writing and Production and Music Production and Engineering from Berklee College of Music

Mr. Ho continues to work on many music productions in the United States and Asia as film composer, orchestrator, arranger, recording & mix engineer. He visits different parts of the world to discover old & new musical elements for his compositions.  Chee-Ping Ho enjoys exploring the challenges and unique sounds created by writing for diverse ensembles from orchestra, wind band, marching band, and small ensembles.  His commissions continue lend themselves to new audiences world wide.

Ho currently serves as the Academic Technology Division Manager for Berklee College of Music, where he develops, implements and researches new academic technology for the departments and institutes of Music Technology, Music Writing, Music Education, Music Therapy, Music Business, Professional Music, Liberal Arts, Visually Impaired and Special Needs. In addition, Mr. Ho is an Associate Lecturer at Umass Boston Performing Arts Department Music Program and instructor at the Vandercook College of Music MECA program.

Chee-Ping Ho also represent the Massachusetts Music Education Association(MMEA) Conference Committee Technology a state chapter of the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) and presented numerous clinics in music & technology as well as a freelance music technology consultant for local colleges and high schools.
